Lockdown presented us with unprecedented challenges. We suffered physically, mentally and financially. Many of us were fortunate to work online, but Sajilo Partners technicians did not have this luxury.

They could not program or schedule a meeting online to complete their tasks. Sajilo Marmat Sewa tried to solve issues online, but not all issues could be solved online.

Sajilo Marmat Sewa motivated and encouraged technicians to polish and learn new skills. The company was able to hold sessions about the importance of social distancing and sanitization.

Furthermore, Sajilo Marmat Sewa devised a safety net for their technicians. In partnership with Mindgrowth and Idea Studio, Sajilo Marmat Sewa established ‘Sajilo Marmat Sewa COVID Relief Fund’ with the objective of helping the technicians.
Until now seven technicians have received the interest free loans ranging from Rs. 15000/- to Rs. 50,000/-. The technicians selected for the relief fund had difficulties making ends meet, had huge debts, chronic health problems, a newborn baby, and other problems.
Recently Electrical expert Mr. Ramesh Chaulagain received a sum of Rs. 40,000/- to complete the construction of his house at Banepa.

The main objective of the COVID relief fund was to help the technicians in need. Even though the company could only help a few technicians, the fund had reduced their problems and helped them sustain in difficult times.
