From one plumber to a network of 1,200.
In 2021, our founder Sandeep Kumar was a recently-returned engineer fixing his Pulchowk apartment. After three different plumbers cancelled in one week and a fourth charged him 4× the fair rate, he wondered why finding a reliable home-service worker in Kathmandu felt harder than finding a doctor.
On the other side of that broken market were thousands of skilled tradespeople — plumbers, electricians, AC techs — sitting idle, unable to find steady work, often paid late or not at all by middlemen. Two problems, one obvious answer: a platform.
We launched in November 2022 with three plumbers, a Google form, and a WhatsApp number. Four years later, Sajilo Sewa is the largest verified home-services network in Nepal — covering Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and now expanding to Pokhara and Chitwan.
We're a small, opinionated team. We believe customers deserve transparent pricing, real warranties, and never being talked down to. We believe experts deserve respect, fair pay, and the dignity of running their own business. Everything we build is at the intersection of those two beliefs.

Transparent pricing, always
Our rates are public on the home page. No surge pricing, no surprise charges. The plumber tells you the cost before opening their toolbox — and writes it down.
Workmanship comes with a warranty
Every job, no matter how small, comes with a 30-day warranty. If it breaks again, we re-do it free. AMC members get 1 year. We stand behind our work because we trust our experts.
Experts before customers, always
A platform that mistreats its workers is a platform on borrowed time. Our experts keep 80% of every job, get paid weekly, and have access to insurance, training, and tools. They're partners, not gig workers.
Verified means verified
Citizenship, training certificates, references, police clearance, in-person interview, tool inspection, and trial jobs — every Sajilo Expert clears 7 checks before their first paid booking.
We obsess over the boring stuff
Reliability is logistics. We invest more than competitors in dispatching, route optimization, and ETA accuracy because "the plumber will be there at 10:30" should mean it.
